Setting the location & time
How to set an offline or online location, plus the event's start and end date and time.
Location and time are key details that determine how attendees join your event. Nyebar supports both offline and online events, each with its own settings.
Offline events
For events held at a physical venue, you need to provide the venue details so attendees can get there easily.
- In the Event Type field, choose Offline.
- Set the Region where the event takes place.
- Fill in the Venue Name and the full Venue Address.
- Mark the location on the map so attendees can find the place easily.
Online events
For events held online, you just need to provide an access link.
- In the Event Type field, choose Online.
- Enter the Meeting Link (for example, a Google Meet or Zoom link). This field is optional — if you haven’t created the meeting room yet, just leave it empty and set it later.
Attendees see this link on their e-ticket, along with the platform’s logo (Google Meet, Zoom, or a generic icon for other platforms). The link only shows for confirmed orders — attendees who haven’t paid can’t see it. Until the link is set, attendees’ e-tickets show Not available yet.
Setting or changing the meeting link
You can set and change the meeting link anytime until the event ends, including after the event is published.
- Open the event in the organizer dashboard, then choose the Overview tab.
- In the Meeting link section, click Set link (if there isn’t one yet) or Edit link.
- Paste the new link, then click Save. To remove the link, clear the field and click Remove link.
The Meeting link section also shows the detected platform, a button to copy the link, and a button to open it — handy for testing the link before the event. If the link isn’t set yet, this section shows a warning so you don’t miss it.
Date & time
Fill in the event’s Start Time and End Time fields. Make sure the end time comes after the start time and the schedule is final before you publish the event, so you don’t confuse attendees who’ve already registered.
All times on Nyebar are in WIB (Western Indonesia Time, UTC+7): when you enter them, and when they’re shown to attendees, in emails, and on e-tickets. So enter times in WIB, even if you’re in another time zone.
