Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions from organizers and attendees.

Is it free to create an event on Nyebar? +

Yes. Creating an organizer account and events costs nothing upfront. Nyebar takes a service fee from each paid ticket transaction. Free events have no transaction fees.

How do I start selling tickets? +

Create an organizer profile, then create a new event with its details and ticket types. Once the event has been submitted for review and published, attendees can buy tickets right away.

When can I withdraw my ticket sales? +

You can request a payout after the event ends. Pre-event payouts of up to a set percentage of sales may also be available. Make sure your bank account is verified first.

Which payment methods can attendees use? +

Attendees can pay with QRIS, virtual account (BNI, Mandiri, Permata), and credit/debit card. The methods available may vary depending on platform settings.

How do I check in attendees on event day? +

Open the event dashboard and use the built-in QR scanner to scan the QR code on each attendee’s ticket. You can also check people in manually from the registrant list.

Who pays the service fee? +

It depends on the fee model you choose for the event: the organizer pays (deducted at payout), the attendee pays (added at checkout), or the fee is split.

Where is my e-ticket after I buy a ticket? +

Once your order is confirmed, you get a "Registration Successful" email with a button that takes you to your order page. Your e-ticket and QR code are there, not attached to the email. You can also open it from My Orders (with an account) or Check Order (with your order code).

My payment expired. Can I still pay for it? +

No. Orders that pass the payment deadline are cancelled automatically and their quota is released. To get a ticket, place a new order from the event page while tickets are still available.

Can I get a refund or transfer a ticket I’ve bought? +

Tickets are non-refundable unless the organizer cancels the event. In that case, the organizer handles the refund directly. Ticket transfers and name changes aren’t available yet, so double-check attendee details before you check out.
