Creating a new event
The complete steps for filling in the basic details of a new event on Nyebar.
Creating events is at the heart of what you do as an organizer. On the event creation page, you fill in all the basic details that potential attendees will see. Here’s the complete guide.
Filling in the basic details
Start with the core information that describes your event.
- From the Events menu in the organizer dashboard, click the Create Event button.
- Enter a clear, appealing Event Title.
- Upload an Event Cover Image (poster) as the main visual for your event.
- Choose the Category that best fits your type of event.
- Write the Event Description so potential attendees understand what they’re signing up for.
- Fill in the event’s Terms and Conditions if there are special rules for attendees.
- Set the event’s Start Time and End Time.
- Under Event Type, choose Offline (fill in the Region, Venue Name, and Venue Address, and mark the spot on the map) or Online (you can leave the Meeting Link empty for now and set it later).
- Choose the Platform fee model (who pays the platform fee).
- Set any extra options if needed: Private Event and Limit to one ticket type per registration.
- Save the event. It’s saved with the Draft status.
Finishing up before publishing
Each part above has more detailed settings covered in separate articles:
- Location and time — set the offline/online details and the schedule.
- Description — write an engaging description, with help from the AI Enhancer feature.
- Ticket types — set up ticket prices and quotas in the Tickets tab.
Next steps
Once all the details are complete, submit the event for review so it can be published. While it’s still a Draft, use the time to polish every part so your event looks its best.
