Voucher limits and validity
Set how many times a voucher can be used and the dates it's valid, and keep track of its usage.
To keep your promos under control, you can limit how a voucher is used. Nyebar supports a usage limit and a date-based validity period. This article explains each setting and how to keep track of usage.
Usage limit
With the Maximum Uses field, you can set how many times a voucher can be used in total. Once the limit is reached, the voucher automatically stops working. This is handy for limited promos.
Validity period (dates)
You can give a voucher a Start Date and an End Date. Outside that range, the voucher won’t be accepted at checkout. If you leave both empty, the voucher stays valid with no time limit.
The status in the voucher list follows this validity period: Not started before the start date, Ended after the end date, and Inactive when the Active toggle is turned off.
- Open the Vouchers tab, then edit the voucher you want to set up.
- Fill in Maximum Uses if needed.
- Set the Start Date and End Date for the validity period.
- Make sure the Active toggle is on so the voucher can be used.
- Save your changes.
Tracking voucher usage
The system keeps track of how many times each voucher has been used. The Usage column in the voucher list shows the number of uses against the limit, so you can see how much is left and measure how well your promo is working.
