Understanding the refund policy
Nyebar's ticket refund policy and the right steps to take if the organizer cancels the event.
The basic policy is simple and printed on every e-ticket: purchased tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organizer. This article explains what that means in practice.
What doesn’t qualify for a refund
Not being able to attend, buying the wrong ticket type, or changing your mind aren’t grounds for a refund. There’s also no way to request a refund from your order page — no button or form for it, so it’s best to be sure before you buy.
If the organizer cancels the event
Refunds for cancelled events are handled directly by the organizer, outside the Nyebar platform — Nyebar doesn’t process refunds automatically.
- Contact the organizer with the Contact Organizer button on the event page, and include your order code and proof of payment.
- Follow the refund process the organizer sets out — the destination account, timing, and method are up to them.
- If the organizer doesn’t respond within a reasonable time, report it to the Nyebar team through the Contact Us page so the team can help follow up.
Money deducted even though your order was cancelled because the payment expired? That’s a different case from a refund — see Handling pending or expired payments.
