Registrations that need approval

What happens after you register for a ticket that needs the organizer's approval, including how to pay once you're approved.

Some tickets need the organizer’s approval first, for example tickets just for community members. Tickets like these are labeled Requires organizer approval when you choose them.

If you book a ticket like this together with other tickets in one order, the whole order is reviewed: all the tickets are issued together once approved, and they’re all cancelled if your registration is rejected. If you want the other tickets right away, book them separately.

After you register

Fill in the attendee details as usual, then click Submit Registration. You won’t be asked to pay anything yet. Your registration’s status is Awaiting approval, and you get an email saying your registration has been received.

The organizer has until the review deadline shown on your order page. If it hasn’t been reviewed by then, the registration is cancelled automatically.

If you’re approved

  • Free tickets: your registration is confirmed right away and your e-ticket is sent by email.
  • Paid tickets: you get an email saying your registration has been approved. Open your order, click Pay Now, choose a payment method, then complete the payment.

If you’re rejected

Your order’s status is Rejected and you get an email letting you know, along with a note from the organizer if they left one. You’re not charged anything.
