When you create a ticket type, you choose one of two pricing models in the **Ticket Type** field. This choice determines how attendees pay for your ticket. Here's an explanation so you can pick the one that best fits your event.

## Free tickets

Tickets with no charge (**Free**). Attendees still need to book a ticket so you have attendance data and can manage the quota. A good fit for webinars, community gatherings, or open events.

## Paid tickets

Choose **Paid**, then set a fixed price in the **Price (IDR)** field. Attendees pay the amount you set. This is the most common model for concerts, workshops, or other paid events.

## Changing the pricing model

1. Open the **Tickets** tab, then edit the ticket type you want to change.
2. In the **Ticket Type** field, choose **Free** or **Paid**.
3. If you choose Paid, fill in the **Price (IDR)**.
4. Save your changes.

You can use a different pricing model for each ticket type in the same event.

> After the event is published, **a ticket's price and type can only be changed as long as that ticket hasn't been sold or reserved** (0 sold, 0 held). As soon as there's a single purchase or an ongoing reservation, that ticket's price and type are locked — you can still adjust its quota and sale schedule.
