Ticket types are the products you sell for your event. One event can have several ticket types at once, such as Early Bird, Regular, and VIP. In this article you'll learn how to create your first ticket type and get to know its main fields.

## Creating a new ticket type

1. Open the event you manage, then go to the **Tickets** tab.
2. Click **Create Ticket Type**.
3. Choose the **Ticket Type** (Free or Paid), then fill in the **Ticket Name** and a short **Description** so attendees understand what they're buying.
4. Set the **Price (IDR)** (if it's paid), **Quota**, **Min Per Order**, **Max Per Order**, plus the **Sale Start** and **Sale End**.
5. Fill in **Notes from the Organizer** if there's specific information you want holders of this ticket to see (optional).
6. Add a **Ticket Image** if needed (optional).
7. Save. The ticket will appear on the event page according to your settings.

## Main fields to fill in

- **Ticket Name & Description** — the information attendees see when choosing a ticket.
- **Ticket Type & Price (IDR)** — Free, or Paid with a fixed price.
- **Quota** — the amount of stock available for this ticket.
- **Min Per Order** — the minimum number of tickets that must be bought in one order (default 1, and it can't be more than Max Per Order).
- **Max Per Order** — the maximum number of tickets that can be bought in one order.
- **Sale Start & Sale End** — when the ticket starts and stops selling.
- **Notes from the Organizer** — optional, extra information shown on the attendee's e-ticket and ticket PDF (for example, entry instructions or special terms).
- **Ticket Image** — optional, helps make the ticket look clearer.
- **Sale Status** — **Active** (default), **Paused**, or **Hidden**. See [Ticket sale schedule](/en/organizer/tickets/ticket-sale-schedule) for what each status means.
- **Requires approval** — optional, you review every registration for this ticket before the attendee gets an e-ticket. See [Registrations with approval](/en/organizer/tickets/registrations-with-approval).

> **Hide without deleting**
>
> You can pause or hide a ticket type anytime without deleting it. This works well for seasonal tickets you want to use again later.

Once the ticket type is created, you can fine-tune it with the pricing model and sale schedule.
