# Exporting orders

How to download your event's order data as a CSV for reconciliation and reporting.

For financial reconciliation or reporting, you can download all of your event's order data as a CSV. The file contains transaction records you can work with further in a spreadsheet app.

## Downloading order data

1. Go to the organizer dashboard and choose the event whose data you want to download.
2. Open the **Finance** tab, then choose the **Order History** sub-tab.
3. Click the **Export CSV** button to download the order data.
4. The CSV file is saved to your device, ready to use.

## Using your order data

Order data is useful for matching income, putting together financial reports, or archiving your event's transaction history. Since it's a CSV, you can open it in a spreadsheet app to calculate or filter as needed.

> **Keep it separate from attendee data**

> Order data focuses on transactions, while the attendee list focuses on attendance. Download both if you need the full picture.

> **Store it securely**
>
> Order files can contain sensitive information about buyers. Make sure you store them securely and share them only with people who need them.

Compare the export with the summary in the **Overview** tab to make sure your data is consistent.
