Often run similar events? The duplicate (clone) feature helps you create a new event quickly without filling in every detail from scratch.

## When to duplicate an event

Duplicating works well when:

- You run a recurring event in the same format (for example, a monthly class or workshop).
- You want to create a new event with a similar structure but a few different details.
- You need a well-organized starting point to save time.

## How to duplicate

1. Open the event you want to use as the base from the **Events** menu.
2. Go to the **Settings** tab.
3. Click **Duplicate Event**, then confirm in the **Duplicate Event?** dialog.
4. Open the duplicated event (which has the Draft status), then adjust its details: title, time, location, and ticket types.
5. Submit it for review when it's ready.

> **A duplicate is a new Draft**
>
> The duplicated event is a separate Draft and isn't published automatically. You still need to check it and submit it for review.

> **Update the details that change**
>
> Make sure you change the date, time, and any other information that's different, so no details from the old event carry over.
