The basic policy is simple and printed on every e-ticket: purchased tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organizer. This article explains what that means in practice.

## What doesn't qualify for a refund

Not being able to attend, buying the wrong ticket type, or changing your mind aren't grounds for a refund. There's also no way to request a refund from your order page — no button or form for it, so it's best to be sure before you buy.

> As long as you haven't paid, no money has changed hands. If you have doubts at the last second, just let the payment time limit run out — the order is cancelled automatically at no cost, and you can book again anytime.

## If the organizer cancels the event

Refunds for cancelled events are handled directly by the organizer, outside the Nyebar platform — Nyebar doesn't process refunds automatically.

1. Contact the organizer with the **Contact Organizer** button on the event page, and include your order code and proof of payment.
2. Follow the refund process the organizer sets out — the destination account, timing, and method are up to them.
3. If the organizer doesn't respond within a reasonable time, report it to the Nyebar team through the Contact Us page so the team can help follow up.

> **Don't wait for an automatic notice**
>
> Nyebar doesn't notify buyers yet when an event is changed or cancelled. That kind of information comes from the organizer through their own channels — keep an eye on the organizer's social media or announcements for events you already have tickets to.

Money deducted even though your order was cancelled because the payment expired? That's a different case from a refund — see [Handling pending or expired payments](/en/attendee/payments-and-fees/pending-or-expired-payments).
