# Handling pending or expired payments

What happens when your payment hasn't been confirmed yet or goes past the time limit, and what you can do about it.

Two situations often cause panic when paying: the status is still pending even though you've already transferred the money, and the time limit running out before you're done. Each has a different way out — this article explains what's actually going on behind the scenes.

## Status still Pending

Confirmation from the bank, QRIS provider, or card issuer sometimes takes a moment to reach Nyebar. If you've paid but the status hasn't changed:

1. Keep the payment page open for about a minute — the status updates automatically.
2. If it still hasn't changed, tap **Refresh Status**.
3. As soon as the confirmation comes in, the status changes to successful and your e-ticket is issued.

## Card declined or being verified

- **Card declined** — usually because of a limit, the card not being enabled for online transactions, or a wrong OTP. Your order stays valid until time runs out: click **Try Another Card** and pay with a different card, or contact your card issuer.
- **Verifying Payment** — occasionally a card payment is held first by Midtrans's security system. You don't need to do anything; your e-ticket is emailed to you once the payment is verified. If the verification is rejected, the order is cancelled; any funds that were held are released by your card issuer according to their policy.

## Payment Expired

If the time limit passes before your payment is confirmed (5 minutes for QRIS and virtual accounts, 15 minutes for cards), the order is cancelled automatically: the ticket, add-on, and voucher quota you were holding is released back to other buyers.

> There's no way to bring back an order that's been cancelled. The only way to get tickets is to book again from the event page — as long as there's still quota available.

Also keep in mind: Nyebar doesn't send notification emails for failed or expired payments. Check the status directly on the payment page, the My Orders page (if you have an account), or the Check Order page with your order code.

## Money sent but the order was cancelled

This is rare, but it can happen if you pay in the very last seconds before the time limit. If your balance was deducted while your order shows as cancelled, contact the Nyebar team through the Contact Us page with your order code and proof of payment so it can be traced.

> **Prevent it from the start**

> Have your payment app and enough balance ready before you hit checkout. Five minutes is plenty when everything's at hand — and very tight if you're only just starting to look for an ATM.
