On event day, your e-ticket is your way in: staff scan the QR code on your ticket to record your attendance. This article covers how to prepare and the rules at the check-in gate.

## Checking in at the venue

1. Open your e-ticket from the confirmation email or the My Orders page — or have the downloaded ticket PDF ready if you're worried about poor signal at the venue.
2. Show the QR code on your ticket to the staff at the entrance.
3. Staff scan the QR (or mark your attendance manually from the list) — done, enjoy the event.

## The rules

- Check-in is done by the organizer's staff — you can't check yourself in from your own device.
- **Each ticket is valid for one check-in only.** Once scanned, the same QR will be rejected if it's scanned again, and a check-in can't be undone.
- Used tickets appear grayed out on your order page — that's how you know the ticket has been checked in.
- Coming as a group on one order? Each person brings their own ticket QR. Forward the link or PDF to each holder before you set off, while still keeping it private.

> **Guard your QR until it's scanned**
>
> Because each QR can only be used once, a leaked QR can be used by someone else to get in before you. Don't post your ticket on social media until the event is over.

> **No reminder emails**
>
> Nyebar doesn't send reminder emails before an event yet. Put the event's date and time in your own calendar as soon as your order is confirmed — especially for events you bought tickets for well in advance.
