# Managing your account privacy

Control whether your name appears in event attendee lists, and learn the current limits of account settings.

Some events show an attendee list on the event page — everyone who has registered, with their name and avatar. If you'd rather attend without appearing on that list, a single toggle takes care of it.

## Hiding yourself from attendee lists

1. Sign in to your account, open **Account Settings** from the account menu, then go to the **Privacy** section.
2. Turn off the **Show in attendee lists** toggle.
3. Done — your name no longer appears in the attendee lists of events you join.

This setting only matters for events where the organizer has turned on the attendee list; other events don't have one at all. Hiding yourself doesn't affect your ticket or check-in in any way — you're still registered as usual.

## Managing the organizers you follow

The organizers you follow are listed on the **Following** page in the account menu. From there you can unfollow at any time without affecting any existing orders.

> You can change your name, username, profile photo, bio, and social media accounts under **Account Settings → Profile** (see [Public profile and social media](/en/attendee/account-and-security/public-profile-and-social-media)), and delete your own account in the **Delete Account** section. You can't change your phone number yourself yet — contact the Nyebar team through the Contact Us page if you need to.
